This policy explains what PlatIndex (platindexai.com) collects and why. We keep it minimal.

What we collect

Property address or HCAD account you enter, to run the lookup and generate your report.
Your email address, to deliver your report and let you retrieve it later (magic-link sign-in).
Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Basic technical data — IP address (used only for rate-limiting/abuse prevention) and privacy-friendly, cookie-less page analytics (Vercel Web Analytics).

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not compile personal profiles. The property and email you provide are used to deliver the service you asked for.

Where data is processed

The site runs on Vercel; lookups query public City of Houston and Harris County GIS services; payments run through Stripe; rate-limiting uses Upstash. Each processes data only to provide its part of the service.
